MRO Property Services transformed the old WA Salvage building into 4,400m² of prime bulky goods retail showroom space and warehouse facilities for Retravision and Ray’s Outdoors. This refurbishment and extension delivered modern, functional spaces while maintaining efficient flow for both customers and staff.

The external structure combined a steel portal frame with concrete tilt panels, finished with black metallic Alucobond and silver metallic Kingspan panels specially imported from the UK. Internally, 9mm cement fibre cladding was integrated with the steel frame and tilt panels to provide insulation for the conditioned interior, meeting both acoustic and energy certification standards.

To suit the prestigious retail brands, the interior features painted insulated panels, archistone black iron stone cladding, and coloured back glass, creating a contemporary and appealing atmosphere. A 6,000m² car park was also constructed and resurfaced to complete the development.

The project was delivered within a busy, operational retail complex, requiring careful traffic management and rigorous safety measures. MRO Property Services worked closely with the local council to secure all development approvals and building licences, while coordinating with the tenants’ fit out teams to ensure their requirements were seamlessly integrated. The project was completed to an all-inclusive stage within the 26-week timeframe, demonstrating precise planning, expert execution, and attention to detail.
