Curtin University B402 CBS Equip Fitout

Client Curtin University

This project involved removing existing internal walls and delivering a complete new fitout to create an open-plan workspace for Curtin University staff. During the works, MRO Property Services identified several issues beyond the original scope, including significant water damage around a high-level dome skylight, incorrect bulkhead fixings, and poor workmanship from previous installations.

To ensure the longevity of the new fitout, comprehensive remedial works were carried out to repair the skylight and surrounding ceilings. These additional works delayed the installation of flooring and furniture, but thanks to strong collaboration between the client and MRO Property Services, disruptions were kept to a minimum.

The project was completed to a high standard, and the successful outcome has supported ongoing relationships with the client, architect, and project manager.
