The refurbishment of Curtin University’s Level 2 offices, parts of Level 1, and the Level 3 Mechanical Plant Room involved extensive demolition and a complete upgrade of building services. New fitout works created a modern open-plan workspace for university staff, all while portions of the building remained occupied by staff and students. The increased scope of works, particularly the substantial service upgrades, had the potential to impact teaching operations, but careful planning and proactive coordination ensured the program stayed on track.
By adopting a pragmatic and collaborative approach, MRO Property Services successfully integrated the expanded works with minimal disruption. The project was delivered on time, to a high standard, and maintained a strong working relationship with the client throughout.
