MRO Property Services delivered a full refurbishment of the existing gymnasium changing rooms and main hall at Murdoch University. The changing rooms were upgraded through the demolition of existing finishes and the installation of new wall and floor tiling, updated hydraulic fixtures, and modern shower and toilet partitions.
In the main hall, new wall cladding and mechanical louvres were installed. During cladding installation, it became apparent that the existing substrate could not support the new material. MRO Property Services quickly designed and installed a supporting steel beam within a tight timeframe, ensuring the works were completed during the limited three-week access period.
