MRO Property Services was engaged to transform 7,000m² of existing office space through a complete strip-out and new fit-out. The initial works involved removing old partition walls, redundant services, and loose furniture before beginning the rebuild.
The new fit-out included constructing fresh office partitions, creating boardrooms and a staff hub, and installing additional workstations to modernise the layout. During the project, the client requested over $1 million in additional upgrades, including replacing ceilings, skirting ducts, and a large portion of carpet throughout the building.
Working across eight floors required detailed planning, especially for coordinating services within new glazed and plasterboard partitions. A key challenge was completing works safely around furniture that needed to remain onsite, which demanded careful staging and sequencing.
Access was also limited due to the small lifts, meaning many materials had to be carried up the stairs. Early procurement, efficient scheduling, and strong contractor coordination ensured the project stayed on track despite these constraints.
With an experienced team of carpenters and subcontractors, MRO Property Services successfully delivered the project within the required timeframe and to a high standard.
