Blending two separate retail tenancies into a single modern motorcycle showroom, MRO Property Services delivered a space that combines style, functionality, and an industrial American aesthetic. The works included selective demolition, structural modifications, and new partition walls to define offices, showroom areas, and the workshop layout.
Electrical and data service upgrades were essential to support the client’s sophisticated audio-visual and marketing requirements. The fit-out required close collaboration with overseas manufacturers to deliver custom furniture tailored to precise, built-to-fit spaces.
Specialist finishes brought the industrial theme to life: cement fibre sheets mimicked heavy steel beams, metallic and rust-effect coatings created an aged look, and additional details included clay brick wall tiles, hand-pigmented flooring, and stained marine plywood panels.
Despite working with an interstate client and overseas designer, early sample approvals and ongoing communication allowed the project to progress smoothly. MRO Property Services’ collaborative management ensured scope changes were handled efficiently, maintaining the high-quality finish expected.
The project was completed on time, to a superior standard, and with minimal variations, providing a striking, functional showroom and workshop for the client.
